March 18, 2024.- The subdelegate of the Government in Zamora, Ángel Blanco, held a meeting this Monday with representatives of the Brotherhood Jesús Nazareno vulgo Congregation and with the State Security Forces and Bodies (FCSE) with the aim of guaranteeing the safety of citizens during the parades planned for this Holy Week.
On the part of the Brotherhood they have attended and the abbot, Antonio García Manso, and the vice-abbot, José Ángel del Arco, who have informed the subdelegate that this year it has been decided to limit the entry of people into the Church of San Juan at the time of the dance of the 5 cups to respect the capacity that this space allows and ensure the safety of all participants.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the Civil Guard Command of Zamora, Lieutenant Colonel Héctor David Pulido; the Chief Commissioner of the National Police of Zamora, Guillermo Vara; and the head of the Territorial Unit of Private Security, Inspector J. Francisco Ramos.
As usual, the police will give support during the parades that the Brotherhood of Jesus Nazareno performs on both Friday and Saturday saints
