The Government Delegation and the Board call for reflection on equality in the classrooms with a contest

• All students from schools in Castilla y León can participate from 5th Primary to Vocational Training • The deadline to present the work is open until next April 8

March 13, 2024.- The Government Delegation in Castilla y León, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has convened the third edition of the literary and artistic contest '8M', which aims to promote reflection and work in the classrooms on equality.

This contest is aimed at students from non-university educational centers in Castilla y León and has different categories. The students of 5th and 6th Primary and 1st and 2nd ESO can opt for the literary modality with the realization of a comic and the artistic modality with a drawing. Likewise, these categories are also open to students of 3rd and 4th year of ESO, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training, although, in the form of literature, they will have to present a story.

The stories, comics and drawings have to deal with the importance of achieving gender equality and the well-being of women in all areas of society in order to generate more prosperous economies, free of violence and achieve a healthier planet.

The presentation of all literary and artistic works is done through an email to the address contest_8m.castillayleon@correo.gob.es, and the deadline is Monday, April 8.
