March 1, 2024.- The Subdelegate of the Government in Zamora, Ángel Blanco, participated this Friday in the celebration of the 548th anniversary of the Battle of Toro.
The deputy delegate accompanied the mayor of the town, Rafael González, along with other authorities, in the ceremony that took place in the surroundings of the monolith dedicated to Isabel La Católica that commemorates this historical fact, on the road that connects Toro with Pelegonzalo.
Next, Ángel Blanco, assisted in the Casa de Cultura de Toro to the inauguration of the exhibition ‘Zamora al frontera. Maps and plans’, organized by the Subdelegation of Defense in collaboration with the City Council.
Subsequently, the official acts of commemoration of the Battle of Toro have continued at the Valbusenda Hotel.
