The Contracting Platform publishes the formalization of the contract for the conditioning of the occupational therapy room in the residence of El Burgo de Osma

February 19, 2024.- The Public Sector Contracting Platform has announced today the formalization of the contract for the conditioning of the occupational therapy room in the San José residence of El Burgo de Osma. This action is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) of the Government of Spain and is managed by the Provincial Council. The awardee was Francisco Ruiz Cano and the award amount amounts to 177,244 euros. The execution period is three months.

The conditioning of this room of therapy occupation falls under component 22.1 of the Spain Plan. It may seek to reinforce the attention to dependency and promote the change of model of supports and long-term care. The aim is to improve the System for Autonomy and Dependency Care (SAAD), introducing reforms that simplify procedures and reduce waiting lists, strengthen the quality of professional services and working conditions and increase coverage of benefits. Changes in the support and long-term care model will be promoted, promoting a National Strategy of Deinstitutionalization and the implementation of a person-centered care model.

The aid received by the Soriana Provincial Council makes it possible to finance new public facilities in residential centres that have characteristics suitable for the change in the long-term care model that is to be promoted. Actions are financed in innovative and integrated day centers in the community that allow support and care in the vicinity of the home, also favoring its development in rural areas. It also seeks to promote the introduction of home furnishings that promote personal autonomy.

The Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 is responsible for managing the support of component 22 of the PRTR, referring to the care economy and the strengthening of policies of equality and social inclusion. Within this component, there is the objective 323 that is sought to be achieved with the action that is going to be carried out in El Burgo de Osma.
