Together, there are 34 works of energy rehabilitation of judicial buildings that are distributed between Castilla y León (12 buildings), Castilla La Mancha (9), Region of Murcia (4), Extremadura (7) and Balearic Islands (2). All of them were elected after an energy evaluation among all the courts of the territory Ministry.
Within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan
The financing of these energy efficiency actions is based on the agreement signed in March 2022 with the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, and falls within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
To be eligible for funding under this plan, projects must achieve a primary energy saving of more than 30% through different lines of action. In order to achieve these objectives, the works will renovate the surfaces of the buildings to achieve installations with a high energy rating. In addition, the implementation of self-consumption systems of photovoltaic solar energy or other renewable energies that are more viable depending on the location will be promoted, and the installation of charging points for electric vehicles will be promoted with the aim of contributing to sustainable mobility.
