February 1, 2024.- Renfe has extended to 20 the number of daily seats of the Soria Link AVE service, which connects by VTC the city of Soria with the high-speed line in Calatayud. A combined road and train transport service that links the Soriana capital with Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza and Huesca.
The service was launched in June 2023 and will be in force until December 31, 2024, after the extension approved by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility. Since February 1st, Renfe has expanded the number of places available per service from 12 to 20, with the number of places available per service increasing from 3 to 5.
This combined transport service of Renfe, which connects the communities of Castilla y León, Madrid, Aragón and Catalonia, offers four daily circulations between Soria and Madrid, two for each direction, and three daily circulations from Soria to Barcelona and Zaragoza, two going and one back, as well as an additional circulation to connect Soria and Huesca.
The VTC+AVE combined ticket, which requires registration in Soria, allows by means of a single ticket the service of road transport with VTC between the stations of Soria and Calatayud and the AVE service on the high-speed line Madrid-Malaga-Barcelona.
Tickets can be purchased on the web renfe.com (through the ‘Soria Link AVE’ option as the station of origin or destination) and through the usual channels.
