Renfe puts on sale the tickets of the service that connects Soria with the AVE in Calatayud

• Passengers can travel by high speed to both Madrid and Barcelona, Zaragoza and Huesca • To use these VTC+AVE combinations it is necessary to be registered in the province of Soria

December 28, 2023 .- Renfe has put on sale the tickets to travel from January 1 with the service ‘Soria Link AVE’, a product that connects by VTC the city of Soria with the high-speed trains in Calatayud, from where it allows to move to Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza and Huesca.

This service was launched at the end of June 2023 and after the extension of the bonuses for intermodal trips that connect Soria with the high speed in Calatayud approved by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility it will be in force for another year, until December 31, 2024.

The VTC+AVE combined ticket can be used by those who are registered in the province of Soria. This mode allows by means of a single ticket, road transport service with VTC between the railway station of Soria and that of Calatayud, and AVE on the high-speed line Madrid-Zaragoza - Barcelona.

‘Soria Link AVE’ allows you to travel from Soria to Madrid with four daily circulations, two for each direction, and from Soria to Barcelona and Zaragoza with three daily circulations, two going and one back. In addition, an additional circulation will connect Soria with Huesca.

This service, a project promoted by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, is maintained to promote the mobility of citizens and can be used by those who are registered in the province of Soria. Therefore, users will have to provide the documentation that certifies their status as registrants when required, either in face-to-face sales channels, in access controls to the train or during the journey.
