July 17, 2023.- The deputy delegate of the Government, Marian Rueda, visited the Roads Unit of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma), accompanied by the head of the department, Enrique Arredondo.
The Segovia Unit is located in the Eastern State Road Demarcation, along with those of Burgos, Soria and Ávila.
It is responsible for the management of the State road network in Segovia: N-6, N-603, N-110, N-601, SG-20 (about 250 kilometers of conventional road and 16 of motorway). Also included in this unit are the roads managed by company AP-6 and AP-61 and the section of the first generation A-1 motorway between Santo Tomé del Puerto and the border with the province of Burgos.
Among the tasks performed by the Unit are the maintenance and use of machinery, cleaning of ditches, maintenance of signage, ordinary and extraordinary conservation of the tracks, with the aim of making the roads in the best condition.
