June 26, 2023.- The Security Board of El Espinar has closed today, in the meeting that has maintained in the City Council of the municipality, the device for the festivities of its nuclei (El Espinar, San Rafael, Los Angeles de San Rafael and La Estacion). In the operation, the Civil Guard and the Local Police of El Espinar collaborate.
The meeting was co-chaired by the accidental deputy delegate, Francisco Javier de Santos, and the mayor of El Espinar, Javier Figueredo, and members of the City Council; members of the Civil Guard and the Local Police; the provincial head of Traffic, Pedro Pastor; and Civil Protection of the Junta de Castilla y León participated.
The Government Subdelegation recalls the advisability of not using glass in events held on the street, to avoid incidents, while making available to the City Council the Unit of Violence against Women to provide information in case it considers it of interest to establish ‘violet dots’.
With the Provincial Traffic Headquarters, possible traffic cuts will be scheduled in lanes that are necessary and for the shortest time required.
For its part, the Civil Guard will strengthen the services and its presence on the street. It will establish controls to prevent anyone who has consumed alcohol or drugs from driving a vehicle and may cause accidents, a task that will also be intensified by the Local Police of El Espinar, as announced.
