Marian Rueda will be the new sub-delegate of the Government in Segovia
It will be appointed in the coming days by the Delegate of the Government in Castilla y León, Virginia Barcones
June 24, 2023.- The delegate of the Government in Castilla y León, Virginia Barcones, will appoint, as soon as the necessary administrative procedures are completed, Marian Rueda Cayón as a new subdelegate of the Government in Segovia to replace Lirio Martín who ceased on June 13 in this position to be able to appear as a candidate for the general elections.
Marian Rueda, who was born in 1962 and is the mother of three children, has a degree in Physical Education from the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (INEF) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She is Professor of Secondary Education and Associate Professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid and the University of Valladolid. He holds a master’s degree in High Sports Performance (UAM-COE).
She was director of the La Albuera Secondary Education Institute in Segovia, where she taught Physical Education since 1985. In addition, she was a delegate of Sports of the City of Segovia between 2015 and 2023.
Marian Rueda has been an elite volleyball player to the point that she was international with the Spanish national team and also in the lower categories of the national team. She has been a coach of this sport and trainer of sports technicians.
The delegate of the Government in Castilla y León has thanked Lirio Martín for the services provided in the last five years in which she has represented the Government of Spain in the province of Segovia.
The sub-delegates of the Government must be career officials of the State, the Autonomous Communities or the Local Entities, belonging to Bodies or Scales classified as A1.
