News about the fire
Currently, in the sector corresponding to the province of Toledo, work is being done on two fronts. One that is located between the municipalities of La Adrada, in Ávila, and La Iglesuela. The other front is located in the town of Almorox, where the fire started and where the main efforts of the teams working on the extinction are focused in relation to Castilla-La Mancha.
On the other hand, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., up to 469 farmers have been able to access their livestock farms to be able to take care of their animals, thanks to the work of the Civil Guard. Meanwhile, Benemérita herself maintains the area’s security devices to ensure there are no incidents of theft and looting.
