Talavera de la Reina (Toledo).- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, José Pablo Sabrido, has held a meeting with Astotrans, the association of transporters of Toledo.
In the meeting, in which the vice-president, José Javier Fernández Ordoñez, and the manager, Víctor López Villa, have participated, progress has been made in effective measures against the serious lack of truck drivers and goods in the region, as well as speed up the bureaucratic procedures for those who want to join the sector as truck drivers.
Sabrido has conveyed to them the firm commitment of the Government of Spain to the sector, as well as its understanding with the needs of a key sector for the Spanish and Castile-Manchega economy.
