In the week of the Open Administration, José Pablo Sabrido has visited the program of ‘The Administration Near You’, of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, which brings the services of the General Administration of the State to people living in small or rural municipalities.
Toledo.- The government delegate in Castilla-La Mancha, José Pablo Sabrido, has visited the program of ‘The Administration Near You’, of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, about the services of the General Administration of the State to people living in small or rural municipalities.
The objective of this program is to inform citizens of the procedures and benefits, accompany them and guide them for a better use of the Administration and combat the digital and territorial gap by getting closer to the citizenTo do this, the staff of the Government Delegations and Subdelegations move to the localities where their municipalities request it and teach and help the neighbors to do procedures without having to move to the provincial capital.
This program is specially designed for elderly people or people with difficulty of displacement, vulnerable groups or with less access to the digital world or neighborhood associations and women from small municipalities, and in addition, priority is given to localities with less than 8,000 inhabitants.
Throughout 2025 this program has made 252 departures in Castilla-La Mancha, and the figures by province are as follows:
-Albacete: 72 departures to 55 municipalities / 17 collectives
-Cuenca: 71 departures to 45 municipalities / 26 groups
-Guadalajara: 19 departures to 12 municipalities / 7 collectives
-Ciudad Real: 59 departures to 40 municipalities / 19 collectives
-Toledo: 31 departures to 21 municipalities / 10 collectives
VIDOC
An Integral Documentation Vehicle (VIDOC) that has the same functionalities as a fixed Documentation Unit, and that can issue both the ID and the passport immediately in any population of the territory has also been in San Bartolomé de las Libres.
This initiative is included in the Digital Identity Plan of the General Directorate of the Police and wants to improve the effectiveness and accessibility of digital public services to citizens in those populations that do not have National Police units.
This VIDOC of the Commissariat of Talavera de la Reina entered into service in October 2025, and currently serves localities in the region of Talavera de la Reina, according to the demand for the issuance of documents such as Almorox (every month and a half), Calera and Chozas (every two months), El Carpio de Tajo (every month and a half), Escalona (every month), Fuensalida (every month and a half), La Puebla de Montalbán (every month and half), Los Navorlos (every month)
