Sabrido encourages participation in Carrera 091 of the National Police "in an act of solidarity through a healthy activity"

The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla La Mancha, José Pablo Sabrido, participated this morning in the presentation of the III Solidarity Race Route 091, an initiative organized by the National Police that will be held on April 19 in Toledo.
The proceeds will go to the Association of People with Autism of Toledo

Toledo.- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla La Mancha, José Pablo Sabrido, participated this morning in the presentation of the III Solidarity Race Route 091, an initiative organized by the National Police that will be held on April 19 in Toledo.
During the event, Sabrido highlighted the solidarity nature of this event, stressing that it is “an exceptional public service that, in addition to its daily security work, shows the proximity of the National Police to the citizens through initiatives such as this”.
The government delegate explained that this edition will have more than 1,700 participants and that the collection will go to the Association for Autism of Toledo (APAT), “an entity that performs an essential work to make a more sensitive and inclusive society”.
It has also pointed out as a novelty that, for the first time, Carrera 091 will be held in the five provincial capitals of Castilla-La Mancha, thus expanding its scope of solidarity and its social impact throughout the region.
Sabrido wanted to highlight the role of social associations and organizations, stressing that “they are an essential engine to move towards a society more committed to those who need it most”.
In this sense, he has encouraged citizens to participate in this initiative, remembering that “through each registration we will be collaborating with the National Police and supporting an association such as APAT, which we must help”.
The presentation ceremony, held at the Superior Police Headquarters of Castilla-La Mancha, was attended by the Superior Police Chief of Castilla-La Mancha, Francisco Herrero, who detailed the organizational aspects of the event.
Carrera Route 091
For the first time, the Ruta 091 race will be held in the five provincial capitals of Castilla-La Mancha. The first of them will be held in Albacete, on April 18, the next day, on the 19th, the turn of Toledo. Ciudad Real will host the event on May 17 while Cuenca and Guadalajara will close on November 14 and 15 respectively.
This career was born with the purpose of working to raise awareness and awareness of the need to be close to this cause of solidarity, and with the purpose of bringing the National Police closer to the citizen and making 091 known as the emergency telephone.
This year, the Toledo race will have seats for 1,000 runners and another 700 for the march. The route has a total distance of five kilometers that can be traveled in different modalities and categories. In addition, and with the aim of promoting the end of solidarity, for those who do not intend to run or leave in the race, they will be able to acquire a ‘Dorsal 0’ that will contribute to the cause.
The race will begin at 11 a.m. on Calle Marqués de Mendigorría and will run through the streets General Villalba, Avenida de Europa, Avenida de Portugal, Avenida Mas del Rivero, Camino Molinero, Avenida América, Calle Reconquista, Duque de Lerma, General Villalba, Costanilla de San Lázaro and Calle Huérfanos Cristinos, to finish inside the Plaza de Toros, and will have a maximum duration of 50 minutes.
APAT will be the beneficiary of the funds raised in this edition
The benefits that will be collected in this third edition of the solidarity race 091 will go to the Association of People with Autism of Toledo. An association created in 2007 with the aim of attending to the needs of people with autism and supporting and guiding their families in the province of Toledo.
The president of the association, Sagrario Domínguez Alba, wanted to celebrate that this year the people with autism in Toledo have been chosen as the beneficiaries of this solidarity test, in addition to highlighting that the association is a regular collaborator of this type of events, always looking for proximity in terms of the dates with April 2, day in which the World Autism Day is commemorated.
