Toledo.- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, José Pablo Sabrido, has held a meeting with the group of Democratic Memory of Toledo and has received the balance of activity, framed in a climate of calm dialogue, mutual respect and willingness to understand.
During the meeting, Sabrido pointed out the need to approach the past from a perspective that serves to unite society, “never to generate confrontations or divisions between citizens and in search of a definitive act of conciliation and without confrontations.”
The main objective of the meeting was to move forward from harmony, dialogue and the construction of a common future based on respect for human rights and democratic principles.
The delegate of the Government of Spain highlights the importance of maintaining meeting and conversation spaces that contribute to a more just, cohesive and reconciled society, in which knowledge of the past helps to reinforce present and future coexistence. And he has reaffirmed his commitment to institutional dialogue and to all those initiatives that promote harmony, understanding and respect among people.
