Toledo.- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón, attended the presentation of the MiDNI application that took place this morning at the Superior Police Headquarters of Castilla-La Mancha before a large representation of national police from the five provinces of the autonomous community. Presentation made by the head of the Documentation Division, Francisco Herrero, and in which there was no lack of the Superior Chief of Police of Castilla-La Mancha, Javier Pérez Castillo, and the provincial commissioners.
Modernize the National Police
Milagros Tolón welcomed the agents and pointed out that this new application “is a revolution for the National Police and the citizens, because we moved with the mobile phone and we had to take a step to modernization with the DNI. I congratulate you for the job well done and because we are modernizing the National Police in the face of civil society, and not only in security. Carrying the ID card on the mobile phone is a step forward.”
And it is essential, said the delegate of the Government, “to take it to all civil society, especially the younger people. For this reason I would also like to congratulate the Director General of the Police, Francisco Pardo, because this application is an incentive for the modernization of the National Police and I know that he carries it in his heart, he is one more national police.”
Since April 2, it is already possible to use the DNI on the mobile phone thanks to the MiDNI application. The user will be able to identify himself in person with this document, which has the same validity as the ID in physical format, but will not be able to prove his identity through the Internet.
