Toledo. The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón, presented this Friday the conference on Electronic Administration that has been taught to the students cadets of the Basic Scale of Noncommissioned Officers of the Infantry Academy of Toledo.
Milagros Tolón, who was accompanied in the presentation by the director of the Infantry Academy, Colonel Álvaro Díaz, referred to the historical connection of the military institution with Toledo and Castilla-La Mancha. “The Academy has been modernized and adapted to the times, matching its growth with the development of the whole of Toledo, Castilian and Spanish society,” said the delegate.
This harmony “is reflected in these days that we present, which aim to make the students of this institution aware of the advantages of e-government and the facilities that new technologies offer to carry out all kinds of procedures with the Administration”.
This day “is conceived as an opportunity to publicize the extensive charter of services that the General Administration of the State has, as well as the work that we do from the Delegation of the Government of Spain in the Autonomous Community”.
In this sense, one of the objectives set by the Government of Spain, said Milagros Tolón, is to bring the Administration closer to the citizens in order to strengthen social and territorial cohesion, combat the digital divide, strengthen equal opportunities and guarantee access to public services regardless of the place of work, residence or personal circumstances of each citizen.
In application of this strategy “we celebrate this day in which we will publicize the benefits of e-government and the large number of procedures that can be carried out from mobile or computer”.
Wide range of possibilities
The delegate of the Government has referred to the “wide range of possibilities, from accessing our working life to carry out traffic procedures, register consultations, notifications, access to calls, benefits, renewals, subsidies, licenses and a long list of digital services that are available to all citizens” through the electronic media.
Among all of them, the Citizen Folder stands out, an application in which you can consult personal data, prior appointments, information on procedures, pending notifications or status of pending dossiers, in addition to receiving notices and alerts.
In addition, during these days, with the technicians and staff of the Delegation, it will also be possible to obtain the means of electronic identification (electronic certificate and Cl@ve) that give access to these services and that allow us to interact telematically with the Administration from anywhere.
Complicity
Milagros Tolón has outlined “the complicity of the Infantry Academy” in the objective of approaching the Administration to the citizen, requesting the Government Delegation to hold these sessions. For this reason, “I convey my gratitude and recognition to the managers and trainers of this center, with its director at the head”, said Milagros Tolón, who also thanked the involvement of the technical staff of the Delegation.
Finally, the delegate has reaffirmed her commitment to strengthen the ties of collaboration with the training center with the realization of more activities that are of interest to the region and to the development of the military institution.
For his part, the director of the Infantry Academy has thanked the delegate for her presence in the act and the realization of these to implement the training of the students who study in this center of Toledo with 174 years of history.
