Toledo.- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón, held on Thursday a meeting with the Minister of Equality of the Board of Communities, Sara Simón, with which she reviewed the projects, programs and activities that the central and regional administrations jointly maintain in the field of equality.
The meeting highlighted the importance of maintaining and strengthening institutional coordination to address the current equality challenges in Castilla-La Mancha, mainly in the defense of women’s rights and freedoms, in the prevention of male violence and in the protection of victims.
This meeting is part of the round of contacts that the delegate maintains with the representatives of the administrations, entities and institutions of the region to consolidate institutional cooperation and jointly address the challenges and opportunities of Castilla-La Mancha.
