Madrid.- With an investment of more than 20 million euros, the Parador de Molina de Aragón will open its doors throughout 2024, which will be a revulsive and yet another attraction for Castilla-La Mancha and the province of Guadalajara.
This was highlighted on Wednesday by the delegate of the Government of Spain in the region, Milagros Tolón, in the meeting she held with the president of Paradores, Raquel Sánchez, within the framework of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) that was inaugurated this Wednesday in Madrid.
“A reality thanks to the impetus of the Spanish Government”
Milagros Tolón has highlighted that the new Parador de Molina de Aragón is practically finished, and has recalled that it is a reality thanks to the impulse of the Government of Spain in the last four years, which has allowed the completion of the works.
The delegate has pointed out that tourism is one of the engines of the economy of Castilla-La Mancha with a contribution of 7.4% in the regional GDP and has valued the involvement and contribution of the Government of Spain to its development. In this sense, the Paradores network is an essential element due to the quality of its services and the value it brings to the territory in which they are located.
An investment of 20 million euros
Meanwhile, the president of Paradores, Raquel Sánchez, has valued the investment made, more than 20 million euros; and the jobs that are going to be generated, in principle 22. “Paradores is a symbol of quality, of historical and cultural heritage, it is a symbol of gastronomy, of showing our great assets in wonderful environments. The Paradores brand is very unique, with its own personality. That’s why I invite everyone to visit the Parador de Molina in Aragón shortly.”
The Parador de Molina de Aragón will make it possible to dynamize the area and attract more visitors to a region with a great wealth of heritage, landscape and environment, said the delegate, who insisted that it is a first-class resource, one more attraction for the area based on tourist excellence. The opening of this establishment will also create employment in the area; from the outset, 22 jobs that have already been offered.
22 rooms, three floors…
The establishment will have 7,000 square meters on a plot of 42,000 square meters. It will have 22 rooms distributed in three floors, bar-cafeteria, dining rooms, two convention rooms with a capacity between 300 and 500 people, social rooms, gardens and parking for 60 vehicles.
The government delegate has referred to the crisis suffered by the tourism sector with COVID-19 in Castilla-La Mancha. “The Government of Spain has been sensitive to these difficulties and has allocated more than 140 million euros of tourism investment in the last three years to improve the competitiveness and excellence of tourism in our region. It is the largest tourist investment of the Government of Spain in this Autonomous Community,” he said.
In this strategy, the Tourism Sustainability Plans financed with the Next Generation funds have been fundamental, whose objective is to give a tourist impulse to the areas where they are implemented to incorporate digitalization and environmental and socioeconomic sustainability.”
