The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) has ceded to the city of Noblejas, in the province of Toledo, the ownership of a section of the N-400 road, between km 56,554 and 57,640.
The trunk length of the section to be ceded is 1,086 m, with an estimated area of 21,315.43 m2.
The transfer, which was formalized after the signing of the act by both parties, does not impair the continuity and functionality of the State road network, since this section has acquired the status of urban road and lacks the function of service to long-distance traffic.
This change of ownership does not entail any transfer of capital, nor does it generate economic obligations or expenditure for the General Administration of the State.
Thus, the City of Noblejas assumes ownership of the section with all its auxiliary elements and equipment, being, from the day of the signature, its owner and, consequently, responsible for its conservation, defense and exploitation.
The transfer of ownership has been carried out under the conditions established in articles 5 and 49 of Law 37/2015, of 29 September, on Roads and in article 127 of Royal Decree 1812/1994, of 2 September, approving the General Regulations on Roads.
