Cuenca.- The deputy delegate of the Government of Spain in the province of Cuenca, Mª Luz Fernández, has chaired the meeting of the Provincial Working Group for the collaboration between the Labour Inspectorate and the State Security Forces.
The purpose of the committee is to analyze and report on the actions carried out by the members of this working group during the last months in the field of foreigners.
The meeting analysed both the offences relating to foreigners and the results of the inspections carried out in the past agricultural campaigns of the grape harvest, garlic and olives, and it was possible to see that there was a slight decrease in offences relating to foreigners compared to previous years.
The subdelegate wanted to point out once again the existing collaboration between the Labour Inspectorate and the State Security Forces and Corps and the need to maintain the high degree of collaboration in order to continue obtaining positive results.
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary General of the Subdelegation, the head of the Provincial Brigade for Foreigners of the Police Station, the head of Immigration in the Civil Guard Command, the head of the Labour Inspectorate, the head of the Provincial Unit of the Work and Immigration Area, the head of the Office for Foreigners and the State lawyer.
