Cuenca.- The subdelegate of the Government in Cuenca, Mª Luz Fernández, has visited the posts of the Civil Guard of Belmonte and Talayuelas within the objective of visiting the 46 posts of the Benemérita in the province of Cuenca that make up the three Companies of Tarancón, Motilla del Palancar and Cuenca. A round of visits that began in April last year.
Mª Luz Fernández has been accompanied in Belmonte by the acting mayor, Cristina Delgado, and in Talayuelas by the mayor, Emma Cano, as well as by the sergeants of the Civil Guard, José Antonio Díaz and Ricardo Fernández, respectively, commanders of the posts visited.
The objective of the subdelegate of the Government with these visits is to know first-hand the needs of the cantonments, the services provided and, in addition, to greet the agents of the Civil Guard of the province, maintaining various meetings with agents and commanders. In them, he also takes the opportunity to highlight and recognize the great work that the Civil Guard carries out in rural areas, “always in the front line of attention to citizens”.
These visits are joined by the one carried out a few days ago in Arcas del Villar, where the deputy delegate of the Government was accompanied by the mayor, Joaquín Mena, and by the sergeant, commander of Post, Ricardo Fernández.
