The Delegation of the Government of Cantabria with the credit received makes available to the Educational Centers, Libraries and any other entities or associations that work through awareness raising and education in the prevention of gender violence, the book "From girls to legends. 25 women athletes who have made history" prepared by the NGO Solidarity Workshop. This book is the result of the work of raising awareness with the youth, and of the enthusiasm of 16 women who selflessly lent themselves to telling the stories of effort, improvement and passion for sport of 25 other women. Women like footballer Verónica Boquete Giadáns, karateca Sandra Sánchez Jaime or former basketball player Amaya Valdemoro Madariaga, and so on until the 25 athletes who are part of this book and all those who are not and should be. It is an awareness-raising tool that brings children closer to the history of great female athletes by showing that there are female sports references in which to look at themselves.
