Criminal offenses remain stable in the municipality of Laredo from January to September compared to the same period of 2024 thanks to the decrease in cybercrime by 11.63%.
This was detailed on Monday by the government delegate in Cantabria, Pedro Casares, in the Local Security Board that he chaired together with the mayor of Laredo, Miguel González.
In the meeting, held at the City Hall, the head of the Civil Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Julio Postigo, along with other officers of the body and representatives of the Local Police, also participated.
Casares has indicated that, in the first nine months of 2025, robberies with force in homes and establishments decreased by 12.9%, and that in the specific case of robberies with force in housing the accumulated decrease is 24%.
At the meeting, both the government delegate and the mayor have valued the collaboration and coordination between the Civil Guard and the Local Police to ensure citizen security in the municipality.
