- Until October 31, the Palencia road will be cut between km 168 and 159.
- The road will remain open between 20:00h and 7:00h, with a cut lane where the machinery of the extended agglomerate will be left, limiting the passage of special transports.

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is carrying out the modernization works of the tunnels of Gedo, Somaconcha, Lantueno, Las Caldas, Riocorvo and Pedredo, which have a budget of 31.3 million euros (VAT included), and are financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
In the development of these works, the spreading of the rolling layer with asphaltic agglomerate in the Palencia road of the Pedredo and Gedo tunnels will be carried out in the municipalities of Arenas de Iguña, Cieza and Los Corrales de Buelna.
Therefore, and in order to guarantee the safety of workers and users, from this morning there will be the cut of the road of the A-67 motorway in the direction of Palencia, in the stretch between km 168 and 159.
To ensure the fluidity of traffic during this affectation, the N-611 road will be enabled as an alternative route, leaving at link 168 of the A-67 motorway and returning to the motorway at the Arenas de Iguña link.
At night, from 20:00h to 7:00h, the road will remain open with a cut lane, where the machinery of the extended agglomerate will be left. Special transports must take into account this limitation to the passage of the tunnel.
The impact on this stretch is expected to last until Friday, October 31.
