In the championship, Andrea Tankeu won a gold medal in the album release category; Óscar Crespo won silver in the 4/400 relay test; and Aaron Ceballos won bronze in the 800 meters.
The government delegate in Cantabria has recognized these “three enormous athletes” who have contributed to achieving “the best U-20 European in the history of Spanish athletics”.
Casares has praised that in Cantabria there is “an excellent generation of athletes” who “are at the top” as demonstrated by “these three great athletes” whose “successes are a pride for Cantabria and Spain”.

The government delegate in Cantabria, Pedro Casares, has transferred the “pride” of the Government of Spain to the three young Cantabrian athletes who have obtained medals in the European U20 Athletics Championship, held in the Finnish city of Tampere last August.
Casares has received in the Government Delegation Andrea Tankeu, Aaron Ceballos and Óscar Crespo, who returned from Finland “with medal for Cantabria” and from whom he has recognized his “extraordinary work, dedication and effort”.
