The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is implementing the works of the A-67 motorway (Cant｟｠ -Meseta) consisting of the construction of a branch of continuity between Sierrapando and Barreda and the improvement of the links of Sierrapando, Barreda and Torrelavega, in the vicinity of the latter municipality, in Cantabria.
These works have a current budget of 141 million euros (VAT included).
In this context, during this week, work will be carried out on the placement of barriers and signage, as well as the painting of road markings, in the branch of the provisional exit 228 of the Torrelavega node; in order to leave it ready for final implementation.
Therefore, and to guarantee the safety of workers and users, from 21:00 hours on Thursday, June 12 to 6:00 hours on Friday, June 13, there will be a total cut of the traffic of the lanes with direction Oviedo at the provisional exit 228 of the A-8.
The traffic will be diverted by the Palencia road on the same A-8 motorway to link 232, where a change of direction will be made. This detour will be duly signposted.
