The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is carrying out the modernization works in the tunnels of the A-67 motorway of Gedo, Somaconcha, Lantueno, Las Caldas, Riocorvo and Pedredo, all of them in Cantabria and which have a global investment superior to the €31 million (VAT included) financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
In the development of these works, work will be carried out on the fire protection network of the Lantueno tunnel, in the Palencia sense tube.
Therefore, and to guarantee the safety of workers and users, from 4:00 a.m. next Tuesday, May 6, and, predictably, until 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, there will be a cut in the aforementioned tunnel.
To ensure the fluidity of traffic during the execution of these tasks, the detour on the N-611 road from the exit of km 144 (Santiurde de Reinosa) until rejoining the A-67 motorway at the link of km 136 (Reinosa) will be enabled as an alternative itinerary, duly signposted.
