The delegate of the Government in Cantabria, Eugenia Gómez de Diego, attended today the act of Proclamation of the Princess of Girona Research Award 2024, within the event ‘Princess of Girona CongresFest’, which has been presided over by Her Majesty the King, Felipe VI.
The event was held at the Palacio de Exhibitions y Congresos de Santander and the award went to the evolutionary ecologist, plant biologist and geneticist Moises Expvend-Alonso for his work on the adaptation of species to climate change.
Previously, at 11.30 a.m. at the Botín Center, the delegate, who accompanied the King during his visit to Cantabria, attended the Talent Session 'Enhance your creativity through art' in which twenty young women of the foundation participated.
The Talent Tour 2024 brings together more than 3,000 young people in Santander from April 22 to 28, in the fourth stop of this tour that tries to promote professional opportunities and improve the employability and well-being of young people.
