The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) has formalized by 530,0427.70 euros (VAT included) the works for the humanization of the N-629 and N-634 roads as they pass through the municipality of Colindres. The corresponding announcement will soon be published in the Official State Gazette.
The interventions will be carried out in the sections between the kilometric points 86,900 and 87,440 of the N-629; and between the 172 and 173,635 of the N-634.
The project aims to improve accessibility conditions for pedestrians, through pedestrian crossing, the removal of architectural barriers in their itineraries and the replacement of pavement on deteriorated sidewalks.
In addition, the current luminaires will be replaced by others equipped with LED technology and new units will be installed.
Road safety will also be improved, with the change of traffic lights on the crossings and the installation of LED cockpit sets in intelligent pedestrian crossings.
The intervention is included in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), within the voyage humanization program that plans to invest up to 105 million euros (VAT not included) to promote a more sustainable, inclusive and accessible urban environment that helps decarbonize urban mobility and improve air quality.
