The Government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, and the Government subdelegate in Las Palmas, Teresa Mayans, participated in the event before the headquarters of the Government Delegation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

For his part, the deputy delegate of the Government in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Javier Plata, together with the mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, José Manuel Bermúdez, has joined the minute of silence at the headquarters of the Subdelegation in the capital of Tenerife.
