The Delegation of the Government in the Canary Islands has today observed a minute of silence before its seven island headquarters after the confirmation as a case of gender violence of the murders of three women in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Guadalajara and Asturias.
The government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, participated in the event before the headquarters of the Insular Directorate of the General Administration of the State in La Palma, accompanied by the insular director, Carlos García.
For her part, the deputy delegate of the Government in Las Palmas, Teresa Mayans, has observed the minute of silence before the headquarters of the Delegation of the Government in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, while the deputy delegate of the Government in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Javier Plata, has been before the headquarters of the City Council of the capital of Tenerife together with its mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez.
