The Government Delegation in the Canary Islands has today observed a minute of silence before its seven island headquarters after the confirmation as a case of gender violence of the murders of a woman and her minor child in Valencia.

The delegate of the Government in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, together with the subdelegate of the Government in Las Palmas, Teresa Mayans, and the insular director of the General Administration of the State in La Gomera, Juan Luis Navarro, participated in the event before the headquarters of the Delegation of the Government in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, while the subdelegate of the Government in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Javier Plata, has been in the Subdelegation of the Government in the capital of Tenerife.
