The LXXXVII Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labour Affairs has agreed on the territorial distribution of the 2,571,961,030 euros from the budgets of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) for the management of the autonomous communities with competences assumed in the field of Active Employment Policies. Asturias will receive 83,272,717 million euros depending on the distribution of funds agreed.
The consensus of the autonomous communities was practically total, with a single vote negative to the distribution.
These funds will be used to finance active employment policy programmes and services included in the Annual Plan for the Promotion of Decent Employment (PAFED).
The Sectoral Conference establishes at the beginning of each financial year both the distribution and the appropriations intended for the implementation of joint plans and programmes relating to the competences of the autonomous communities as well as their territorial distribution.
Distribution according to compliance
28.91% of the funds allocated in 2026, that is, 743,541,735 euros will be distributed among the autonomous communities depending on the degree of compliance with the objectives set in the PAFED of 2025. This item is distributed with the criteria:
- 15% (111,531,260 €) depending on the degree of compliance with the general indicators of the PAFED 2025.
- 60% (446,125,042 €) is distributed according to compliance with the indicators that measure the improvement of employability.
- 10% (€74,354,173) is distributed according to the performance indicators with beneficiaries of unemployment benefits.
- 15% (€111,531,260) is distributed according to the degree of compliance with the indicators for monitoring training for employment.
- Depending on the fulfilment of the consolidation of the staff of counsellors and job prospectors in the autonomous communities.
