The delegate of the Government, Delia Losa, has visited the headquarters of the provincial directorate of the SEPE to be interested in what means that the 25 offices that this agency dependent on the Ministry of Labour has in Asturias have been incorporated into the network of Violeta Points.
The workers of this service have received training to collaborate in the detection and treatment of cases of gender violence. “It is a measure to offer support and accompaniment to victims,” said the government delegate, who encouraged women who suffer violence to denounce: “You are not alone, you have all the resources at your disposal.”
The installation of the Violeta Points is the result of the joint work of the SEPE and the Coordination Unit against Violence against Women of the Government Delegation in Asturias. Recently the Ministry of Equality has announced that the headquarters of the Government Delegation will also be Violeta Points.
