The Government Delegation in Asturias celebrates Open Government Week from March 20 to 24, an initiative promoted worldwide by the Open Gov Week. The objective of the Government of Spain is for the population to know closely the functioning of the General Administration of the State, in addition to promoting the values of transparency and accountability, citizen participation, collaboration and integrity in the public service.
The Government delegate in Asturias, Delia Losa, will open the activities scheduled on Monday 20 welcoming the baccalaureate students who will attend a round table on research in which staff from the Government Delegation, the Spanish Institute of Oceanography and the Institute of Dairy Products of Asturias will participate. On the same day, an open day will be held in the Government Delegation to report on procedures and services provided in the AGE.
The programming, which can be consulted in this link, has been configured to publicize the institution, its services and provide useful information so that the population in general and specific groups can relate to the General Administration of the State.
Thus, on the 21st, baccalaureate students will listen to the professional experience of researchers from INCAR-CSIC, the Centre for Research in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology and the Institute of Space Sciences and Technologies of Asturias. They will then travel to the INCAR facilities.
On the 22nd there will be two activities. In the Government Delegation, groups of elderly people will be informed of the procedures and services provided in the agency. And in the port of El Musel, students of the Integrated Center of FP del Mar will know some of the government facilities that are in the enclosure accompanied by personnel of the Government Delegation, Maritime Captaincy and the Civil Guard.
On Thursday 23, we will hold a round table with associations and organizations linked to the fight against violence against women and in which the National Police and the Civil Guard will participate.
Finally, on the 24th, university students will participate in an open door session to learn about the functioning of the Government Delegation. In addition, staff from the Institute for the Just Transition and the Government Delegation will travel to Cangas del Narcea to inform companies about the aid of the institute dependent on the Ministry for Ecological Transition.
