Teruel.- The Government Subdelegation in Teruel has hosted this Wednesday the celebration of Private Security Day, an institutional act of recognition of the work carried out by this sector in collaboration with the State Security Forces and Bodies and their daily contribution to the security of citizens.

The event was chaired by the deputy delegate of the Government in Teruel, Enrique Gómez, accompanied by the provincial chief commissioner of the National Police, José Miguel Cañete Pérez; the lieutenant colonel head of the Commander of the Civil Guard of Teruel, Juan Pedro Díaz Molina; the director of Security of Caja Rural de Teruel, Francisco Berrón Nuez; and the head of Security and administrator of the company Seguprot Gober, Daniel González Martínez.

During the day, the work carried out by private security professionals as an essential complement to public security has been highlighted, highlighting their permanent collaboration with the National Police and Civil Guard in surveillance, prevention and protection tasks. As recalled during the event, Private Security Day aims to recognize “the transcendental work carried out by private security” and sensitize society about its contribution to the improvement of common security.

One of the central moments of the event has been the delivery of honorable mentions to 14 professionals in the private security sector in the province of Teruel, distinguished for their professionalism, trajectory and collaboration with the State Security Forces and Corps.

In category A, Luis Miguel Valverde Gutiérrez, security guard of the company Ilunion Seguridad, has been recognized for his outstanding professional intervention in the Hospital Obispo Polanco in Teruel, which facilitated the arrest of an individual for a crime of attacks on health personnel, being injured during the performance.

Likewise, in category A, Roberto Bermejo García, delegate of the Chief of Security of the company Compañía de Seguridad Aragonesa (Coviar), has been awarded an honorable mention for his outstanding professional career for more than 30 years and his constant collaboration with the State Security Forces and Bodies through the provision of information relevant to public security.

In category B have been distinguished Óscar Catalán Ibáñez, José Antonio Rodes Herrero, Javier Ángel Alba Velázquez, Fernando Ibáñez Pérez and José Manuel Jarque Gracia, of the Aragonesa Surveillance Company (Coviar); Francisco Yuste Frías and Rozina Stoichina, of Seguprot Gober; Ana Belén Colás Jalle, Director of Security of Ibercaja; Rodolfo Hernández Barrera and Néstos Sales.

In his closing speech, the deputy delegate of the Government in Teruel, Enrique Gómez, thanked the commitment and dedication of all professionals in the sector, stressing the importance of coordination between public and private security to ensure an effective response to current security challenges. He has also congratulated all the distinguished ones for the recognition received and for the work they carry out daily in the province.
