Teruel.- The Subdelegation of the Government in Teruel, through the Unit against Violence against Women, has developed two telematic training days aimed at technical personnel and area managers of the municipalities of the province with the aim of strengthening the correct use of the funds of the State Pact against Gender Violence.
The sessions were held on April 28 and May 25 and were coordinated by the head of the Unit against Violence against Women, Belén Fuerte, within the framework of the actions promoted by the Government Delegation against Gender Violence to improve the management and application of these public resources in local entities.
The subdelegate of the Government in Teruel, Enrique Gómez, stressed the importance of municipalities having “clear and homogeneous criteria” to ensure that actions financed under the State Pact are directly linked to the prevention, sensitization, protection and eradication of gender violence.
For his part, Belén Fuerte explained that these days allow to resolve technical doubts and improve coordination with local administrations to ensure an adequate justification and guidance of the projects financed.
During the sessions, the general requirements for action, examples of good practices and criteria on bankable activities were addressed, recalling that the subsidized initiatives must maintain a direct relationship with the objectives set out in the State Pact against Gender Violence.
With these training actions, the Subdelegation of the Government in Teruel reinforces its work of support and accompaniment to the municipalities of the province in the development of public policies aimed at combating male violence.
