Zaragoza.- The deputy delegate of the Government of Spain in Zaragoza, Noelia Herrero, received this Wednesday two agents of the Civil Guard of Zaragoza and an agent of the Local Police of Cuarte de Huerva who, during their vacations, helped a woman who asked for help in an alleged case of gender violence in Salou. With this meeting, the Subdelegation wanted to recognize the commitment and selfless public service of those who, even out of service, did not hesitate to act when they were most needed.

The agents of the Civil Guard of Zaragoza, Alberto Orcajo and Casto Daniel Ramírez, and the local police of Cuarte de Huerva, David Orcajo, enjoyed a few days of rest at the beach of Salou at the beginning of July when they heard the screams of a woman from their accommodation. Without thinking twice, they warned the emergency services and immediately went down to try to mediate with the alleged aggressor and reduce it. The Mossos d'Esquadra also attended the scene, with whom the Aragonese agents collaborated in the arrest of the alleged aggressor.

The subdelegate wanted, with this meeting, to recognize the selfless work of the three agents who, even on their days of rest and guided by their vocation of public service, served this woman, who was suffering from gender violence, and did not hesitate to act together to stop the aggression and reduce the attacker.
