Teruel.- The Subdelegation of the Government in Teruel held today a follow-up meeting of the Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of School Safety, with the participation of all the educational centers of the city and about 90% of the centers of the province. The Security Forces and Bodies —National Police, Civil Guard and Local Police— play a central role in coordinating activities, giving talks and workshops on prevention of harassment, gender violence, cybersecurity and coexistence.
Representatives of the Security Forces and Bodies, educational authorities, municipal technicians and social entities have participated in the meeting, strengthening coordination among all actors involved in the prevention of harassment, gender violence, hate crimes and cyberbullying, as well as in the improvement of coexistence and security in the school environment.
These meetings, which are held three times a year, aim to review the development of the Plan, evaluate the fulfillment of the objectives set for each school year and share aspects of interest and good practices among all the actors involved. During the day, the Specialized Team of Mental Disorder and Behavior has also been presented, strengthening the collaboration between educational centers and security bodies to ensure prevention and safety in the classrooms and their environments.
