Zaragoza.- The autumn of 2025 in Aragón has been a “very warm” season in terms of registering temperatures and “very dry” in terms of the rains of the last three months. These are the assessments made by the delegate of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), Arcadio Blasco, during the presentation of the data at the press conference of the climate balance of recent months developed at the headquarters of the Delegation of the Government of Spain in Aragon.
The meteorological autumn of 2025, period between September 1, 2025 and November 30, 2025, has been very warm in terms of temperatures in the whole of the Aragonese community. According to the data, Aragon has had an anomaly of +0.9°C compared to the averages of the reference period 1991-2020. In fact, the delegate stressed that, analyzing the data until November 30, the year 2025 would fall within the five warmest years of the historical series.
In terms of the percentages of accumulated precipitation in the last quarter, comparing it with the reference averages (1991-2020), they represent an average of 68% with respect to the normal value, showing a very dry character.
Predictions for the winter
The quarter formed by the months of December, January and February, which coincides approximately with the astronomical winter that begins this December 21, will probably be, according to future analyses, warmer than normal in Aragon, with a probability greater than 60% of being in the upper warm tercil.
In terms of rainfall, the quarter could stay within the normal range, although in this case the chances of it being on the average, above or below, are equal.
