Zaragoza.- The summer in Aragon has been a very warm season, in terms of the nature of the temperatures, and humid in terms of rainfall, specifically, the third warmest summer in the historical series of the autonomous community, after 2022 and 2003. These data are taken from the climate balance that has been presented today in the Government Delegation in Aragon, the delegate of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), Arcadio Blasco, an organism dependent on the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.
The meteorological summer of 2025 (period from June 1, 2025 to August 31, 2025) has been very warm in terms of temperatures in the whole of Aragon, with an anomaly of +2.1°C with respect to the average of the reference period 1991-2020. It should be noted that, of the 10 warmer summers in Aragon, 9 have occurred in the S.XXI and among those that figure 5 of the last 10 years.
The percentages of precipitation Accumulated in the last quarter, with respect to the reference averages (1991-2020), they represent an average of 112% with respect to the normal value, showing a humid character.
Forecasts
The quarter formed by the months of September, October and November, coinciding approximately with the astronomical autumn that begins this September 22, will probably be warmer than normal in Aragon, with a probability greater than 70% of being in the upper warm tercil.
In terms of rainfall, the quarter could stay within the normal range, although in this case the chances of it being on the average, above or below, are equal.
