Zaragoza.- The Government Delegation in Aragón celebrates, between 19 and 25 May, the Open Administration Week with the aim of bringing its activity closer to the citizens. This opening of doors will take place at the headquarters of Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel, with a wide range of activities that include guided tours, conferences, the award ceremony of the fifth comic contest against gender violence and the recognition of the agents participating in the Master Plan of Education, a program aimed at promoting coexistence and improving safety in educational centers and their environments.
During the next week, the citizens will be able to know first-hand some of the work areas that take place at the headquarters of Zaragoza and in the subdelegations of Huesca and Teruel. The objective of these initiatives is to promote compliance with the principles of Open Government: transparency, accountability, citizen participation, public integrity and public collaboration.
The headquarters, located at number 13 of the Plaza del Pilar, will host on May 19 a geological walk through the Delegation, in which primary students of the CEIP Tenerías in Zaragoza will be able to discover “the rocks with history” that are in the building. On May 20, the prizes of the fifth comic contest against gender violence, organized by the Government Delegation in Aragon, will be awarded. This contest, already consolidated in the community, has received this year 142 works from 19 educational centers in the three provinces.
On May 21, there will be an information day on the Violet Points from 11:30 a.m. In this conference, it will be announced in what is this instrument promoted by the Ministry of Equality with which to involve the whole of society in the fight against male violence and to spread, in a massive way, the information necessary to know how to act in any case of violence against women.
On May 22, the Government Delegation will give diplomas to the agents, both of the National Police and of the Civil Guard, who participate in the Master Plan of Education, a program with a long history dedicated to promoting coexistence and security in educational centers. Through talks on the dangers of the internet, harassment, drug and alcohol consumption, the prevention of gender violence or youth gangs, the program has reached in its latest edition more than 65,000 students, 1,200 parents and 200 teachers.
Subdelegations of Huesca and Teruel
At the headquarters of Huesca, the activities are framed in the opening of the subdelegation to different educational centers in order to show them the services provided. On Wednesday, May 21, a day will be held together with the CEOE to publicize the relationship of the self-employed and SMEs with the Public Administrations.
In addition, on Friday, May 23, a series of guided visits to the subdelegation building in Huesca have been organized. In this case, those who are interested in learning more about it will be able to register through this link until Thursday, May 22.
In the subdelegation of Teruel, on May 19, a guided tour will be carried out for the members of the Turolense Association of Care for People with Intellectual Disability (ATADI), in order to bring the services offered by the public administration closer to the community. On May 21, the Civil Protection Department of the Government Subdelegation in Teruel will present to the students of the new training cycle of Technician in Emergencies and Civil Protection their daily functions and activities. On the same day, the National Emergency Radio Network (REMER), formed by volunteer radio amateurs who collaborate with the General Directorate of Civil Protection and Emergencies, will show students from different schools how this alternative network works and what its particularities are in emergency situations.
