The Subdelegate of the Government in Zaragoza, Noelia Herreno, held on Thursday a meeting with the Mayor of Movera, Esperanza Calvano, to agree on the process of restitution of the municipal roads affected by the construction of the Z-40 motorway. The delivery of these routes will occur after the repair of them by the Road Demarcation of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility within a maximum period of two months, if weather conditions allow, after the commitment that the City of Zaragoza acquires for the reception of the spare roads.
The deputy delegate of the Government recalled that the implementation in 2008 of the Eastern Round of the Z-40 forced the modification of rural roads that served an agricultural area in the rural neighborhood of Movera. Despite the fact that these roads have never ceased to be municipal, the subdelegation and the mayor of Zaragoza have agreed to close contacts with the City of Zaragoza to officially formalize the delivery of these roads after their adaptation and repair, since it did not occur at the time of completion of the works of the round.
The replacement roads to be repaired have a length of 13,788 meters and are located between the link of the Z-40/A-68, and the stretch of the N-2 (Santa Isabel variant).
