After the recent incorporation of two officials, who complete the team of three veterinarians in the province of Huesca, the Functional Area of Agriculture of the Government Delegation in Aragón will provide the inspection service and issuance of export certificates to third countries in person at the headquarters of the Comarca of Litera, adding this point to the existing TIM of Monzón for the eastern area.
This service was already being provided in the area telematically and face-to-face on demand, but with the establishment of an office in the Comarca de la Litera a processing point will be established, where it will be attended face-to-face, with a periodicity to be determined according to the needs of the exporting companies in the area.
The Functional Area of Agriculture of the Government Delegation in Aragon has requested the Region of La Litera to collaborate to establish this new point of attention, in response to the high volume of products that are exported to third countries from agricultural and livestock transformation companies located in its environment.
This new focus will be set in motion in the coming weeks. It will be added to the identity and physical controls carried out since January in the LAME (Authorized Local for Export Goods) existing in the Intermodal Terminal of Monzón (TIM), located in the Polygon La Armentera of the capital of Cinca Medio.
The deputy delegate of the Government in Huesca, Carlos Campo, has highlighted “the commitment of the Government of Spain with the agri-food sector and exporter of our province”, which is reflected in this extension of the service to La Litera, “a close attention that will facilitate the procedures to the companies located there”. Campo has thanked the Comarca of La Litera for its willingness to welcome this point of attention: “Institutional collaboration makes sense with initiatives like this, which has an impact on supporting a key economic sector for our province.”
