The Tauste Security Board, chaired by the Subdelegate of the Government in Zaragoza, Fernando Beltrán, has today ratified the operational procedure signed between the Civil Guard and the City of Tauste to ensure compliance with judicial measures for the protection of victims of gender violence. This is the last necessary procedure for the Taustano Consistory and the Ministry of the Interior, through the Secretariat of State for Security, to sign the agreement for the definitive accession of the locality to the system of comprehensive monitoring of cases of Gender Violence (VioGén).
Once this agreement is signed and published in the BOE, the Tauste Local Police will be integrated in the work of monitoring cases of violence against women, in coordination and collaboration with the Civil Guard.
At the moment the VioGén agreement in Aragón is closed with the municipalities of Huesca, Tarazona, Calatayud, Alcañiz, Pinseque, Binéfar, Pedrola, Utebo, Cuarte, Zuera, Barbastro, Caspe, La Almunia and Fraga.
The Subdelegate of the Government in the province of Zaragoza highlighted in the meeting held this morning the joint work that has already been carried out by the City of Tauste and the Local Police in the field of protection of victims, as well as the work of proximity of the Civil Guard in the control, prevention and follow-up of active cases within the system.
