Aragonese exports represent, according to data for the month of November, 1,408.3 million euros, which implies a growth of 8.2% compared to the same period of the previous year, and of 1.4% compared to the month of October. The report, prepared by the Territorial Directorate of Trade-ICEX in Aragon of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, with data provided by the Customs Department of the AEAT, also shows that total imports amount to 1,297.2 million euros increasing by 15.4% compared to the previous year and decreasing by 2.8% intermonthly. The commercial balance in this period has a surplus of 111.1 million euros. The coverage rate stands at 108.6%. Aragonese exports accounted for 3.8% of total Spanish exports in the month of November 2022.
The main sectors that contributed to the growth of exports in Aragon came from the food, beverages and tobacco sector, capital goods, durable consumer goods and chemicals. On the other hand, the sector that contributed most negatively was the automotive sector. In terms of imports, the sectors that contributed positively were mainly capital goods, consumer manufactures, food, beverages and tobacco, and durable consumer goods. The biggest negative contribution was the raw materials sector.
The European Union remains the main destination for Aragonese exports, accounting for 64.5% of the total, 11.2% higher than that recorded in November 2021. Of the main partners, the increases in sales to Portugal (17.4%), Italy (15.8%) and France (1.3%) stand out. Exports to third countries account for 35.5% of the total, increasing in all regions except those directed to Africa (-11.1%). The increases can be highlighted positively, among other countries to Argentina (182.7%), Vietnam (118.2%) or Singapore (86.6%).

Aragonese exports reach 15,174.2 million euros (14.1% increase compared to the same period of the previous year). Imports reach 13,467.9 million euros with an increase of 20.1% year-on-year. As a result, the commercial balance in this period records a surplus of 1,706.3 million euros. The coverage rate stands at 112.7%.
The main export sectors in the period January-November 2022 with the greatest positive contribution have been the non-chemical semi-invoice sector, chemicals, capital goods and consumer manufactures. The main importing sectors by positive contribution were consumer manufactures, capital goods, chemicals and food, beverages and tobacco. The main negative contribution in imports came from the automotive sector.
The European Union remains the main destination for Aragonese exports, accounting for 63.9% of the total in the January-November period, increasing by 22.4% compared to the same period of the previous year. Of the main partners, the cumulative increase until November in sales to France (32.8%), Portugal (29.5%), Germany (21.2%) and Italy (7.4%) stands out. Exports to third countries accounted for 36.1%, with increases occurring in all regions except Asia excluding the Middle East (-15.8%). By country, the increases to Argentina (145.2%), Brazil (65.5%) or South Korea (61.4%) among others stood out positively.
