The Government Delegation in Asturias celebrates one more year between 19 and 25 May the Open Administration Week, an initiative promoted worldwide by the Government of Asturias. Alliance for Open Government (Open Gov Week). The objective of the Government of Spain is for the population to know closely the functioning of the General Administration of the State, in addition to promoting the values of transparency and accountability, citizen participation, collaboration and integrity in the public service.
To this end, the Government Delegation has organized several face-to-face and online activities that are aimed at various groups, from students to the elderly, through professionals from certain sectors or the general public.
On Monday, public employees will explain at the headquarters of the Government Delegation the use of electronic means with which we can relate to the General Administration of the State and digital credentials and certificates will be issued. It is an activity open to citizens and for which it is necessary to sign up by filling out this form. For the same day, a similar activity has been organized in coordination with the Federation of Associations of Older People of the Principality of Asturias, FAMPA.
For the 19th, the Agriculture and Fisheries Area of the Government Delegation will offer an online chat to update the information regarding the requirements and procedures necessary for pets to travel with their owners to countries outside the European Union.
On Wednesday the students of the Vinjoy Integration Support Center will visit the facilities of the Government Delegation and will hold a meeting with the Government delegate, Adriana Lastra, who will answer your questions about the General Administration of the State.
On the same day, staff from the General Treasury of Social Security will detail the telematic channels available to them, focusing on its electronic headquarters and the Import@ss application.
On Thursday the 22nd, the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate will explain to the College of Social Graduates what its functions are and the existing channels of communication with the state agency.
On the same day, a talk is scheduled for the nautical clubs of Asturias about marine recreational fishing authorizations in foreign waters.
On Friday 23rd, the head of the Coordination Unit against Violence against Women will give the talk ‘Women at risk, violence that marks’ aimed at volunteers who assist women in situations of vulnerability. It will talk about the tools available to them in social and psychological intervention in the field of violence against women.
In addition, three activities involving schools have been organized. On Monday, students of the Integrated Maritime Training Center will have the opportunity to visit the facilities of the port of El Musel, on Wednesday the students of the IES Llanera will go to the Integral Maritime Safety Center Jovellanos to know the activities that take place there and on Friday the IES La Corredoria will participate in an escape game on road safety at the facilities of the DGT in La Corredoria.

With these actions, the Government Delegation in Asturias reaffirms its commitment to a more accessible, transparent and close administration, facilitating the knowledge and use of public services.
