The Delegation of the Government of Spain in Andalusia has gathered the general secretaries of the eight provincial subdelegations to coordinate the organizational infrastructure of the general elections on July 23, to ensure that everything is prepared and the electoral colleges in Andalusia have everything necessary for the proper functioning of the day of the elections.
In the meeting, which has been supervised by video conference the delegate of the Government of Spain in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, has analyzed the state in which the process is located and fixed the calendar of actions before the electoral call.
In this regard, the eight sub-delegations have already awarded the contracts for the preparation of ballot papers and envelopes that will be available to voters on 23J, so they are being prepared to cover the different candidacies to the Congress and Senate. Specifically they are in Almería, Cádiz and Córdoba 10 for the Congress and 9 for the Senate; 11 Congress and 10 Senate in Granada and Seville; 9 Congress and 8 Senate in Malaga and Jaén; and 8 for the Congress and the 8 Senate in Huelva.
In addition, from all the provinces, the Electoral Census Office (OCE) has already been provided with requests for postal votes and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so that Spaniards residing abroad can exercise their right to vote.
The eight sub-delegations also continue to work on the distribution of booths, ballot boxes and handbooks for the polling stations to the municipalities, so that all electoral material will be finalized by Sunday, July 23.
