The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, visited the facilities of the company Clue Technologies, in Malaga, where he stressed the commitment of the Executive to the development of the Spanish aerospace industry, to make it a key player in the economic transformation, through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
The head of the Executive, accompanied by the Government delegate in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, highlighted the investment effort of the Government in the aerospace sector and highlighted the allocation of 2.5 million euros of the Aerospace Strategic Project (PERTE) for the development of the Sky AI Connect project, with which Clue Technologies will implement advanced computer and intelligent communication technologies in the aerospace and defense field.
Sánchez has also highlighted the fundamental role of SMEs in the technological and aerospace sector in the recovery and transformation of the economy and, at the same time, has valued the commitment of the Executive to place Spain in a position of global leadership in the value chain of semiconductors. In this sense, the Strategic Project (PERTE) of microelectronics and semiconductors has a public support of more than 12.25 billion euros to provide strategic autonomy to Spain and achieve the common objective of concentrating 20% of the world production of semiconductors in Europe.
Likewise, the President of the Government has highlighted the firm commitment of the Executive to the development and future of Andalusia, which in 2023 will receive from the financing system a record figure of more than 24.380 million euros, 25% more than the previous year. In addition, the General Budgets of the State 2023 allocate a total investment of more than 2,500 million euros to the region, almost 3% more than in 2022, and include an allocation of 50 million euros to develop an Employment Plan for Andalusia.
